An Experiment in Fairness, Trust, and Access

Pay Where You Position Yourself on Select Offerings

I’ve been thinking a lot about access, sustainability, and what it means to offer care in a system that isn’t always fair.

Therapy and one-on-one guidance are, for many, essential, and yet often out of reach.

I believe deeply and wholeheartedly in the value of this work. I also believe in finding ways to make it more possible for those who need it most.

At the same time, I recognize that traditional Western therapy has deep roots in systems of privilege and exclusion, and even today can unintentionally perpetuate harm. I hold this truth alongside another: that many of us who enter this work do so with a genuine desire to help and to heal.

No single individual can solve systemic issues alone, but each of us can create ripples of change in our own circles. If enough of us act with intention and integrity, those ripples can gather into something meaningful and beautiful.

So, as part of this ongoing exploration, I’m trying something new:
Pay Where You Position Yourself pricing on select workshops and group offerings.

It’s an experiment in trust, equity, and shared care, a way to make this work more accessible while still honouring what it takes to sustain it.

A pastel-colored cover design with a large pink watercolor heart on the left and a rectangular text box on the right. The text box contains the title 'An Introduction to Pay-Where-You-Position-Yourself Pricing' in black font, with a small heart icon at the bottom center.

This is not “pay what you want.”
It’s a process of reflection, one that asks both of us to be honest about what’s needed and what’s possible.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Tune in.
Feel into your circumstances and what this support could mean for you right now.
Consider both your current resources and your longer-term stability.

  2. Choose your position.

    • Sustainable rate: what allows me to keep offering this work consistently and wholeheartedly. This rate allows this model to thrive.

    • Accessible rate: a reduced rate for those who would otherwise have to go without. This rate allows this model to continue to be sustainable.

    • Heart rate: if paying the accessible rate would compromise your basic needs:  food, shelter, safety,  please pay what you genuinely can. You are still welcome here.

Pay from the heart.
Make a choice that feels aligned,  not from guilt, but from care: care for yourself, and care for sustaining this work.  Each offering will have a suggested range and if what you can offer is lower than the suggested range you can contact us directly to see what we can do.

(Pay-Where-You-Postion-Yourself Pricing Codes will be sent out to my newsletter list first as a “thank-you” bonus  to all those who are a part of this community before they are shared publicly).

Why I’m Doing This

Because I’ve witnessed, time and time again, the transformative power of access to healing tools, psychological education, and personal growth resources.

I’ve seen it in my own life.
I’ve seen it in the lives of thousands of brave individuals who’ve dared to do their healing work.
This isn’t a fluffy hope,  it’s something I’ve watched ripple out in real, measurable ways for my clients. From how they honour their own value and worth, to how they show up in their relationships. To promotions and impact on teams. To how they parent and impacted the next generation. To how they show up in their relationships with family, friends, partner’s. This work can be and often is simply life changing. And it ripples out.

I have dedicated my life and ongoing lifelong learning to this work because I believe it is so strongly.

I’m doing this because:

  • Our current economic systems often exclude the very people who most need support.

  • I have also seen that the people who get the most out of personal development work are invested in the work. In the majority of cases this also means financially but what investment best supports your work is unique to your financial situation.

  • I trust that people are capable of discerning what’s fair and what investment makes sense to best support your work and best honour this exchange of energy.

  • I believe in new models of exchange that center honesty, dignity, and compassion.

This is not a perfect system, it’s a conversation and ongoing experiment in co-creation.
It will evolve. It depends on trust.
But if it means that more people can access care when they need it, I believe it’s worth trying.

If You’re Considering Working Together

If this approach resonates with you, take a moment to tune in, to what’s possible for you financially, emotionally, and energetically.

  • If you can pay the Thriving or Sustainable Rate, please do. It helps keep this model alive.

  • If you need to pay less, know that your honesty is enough, your presence matters.

  • If you can’t contribute financially right now you are welcome to reach out to us directly.

  • There are other ways to support this work: consider sharing these offerings with others to help expand the reach.

This is a shared experiment, in fairness, in community, and in finding a more human way to do business.

Thank you for being part of it.

With care,
