HELLO!
I’m Katie Turner
I believe healing isn't the destination—it's the beginning.
Healing creates the capacity to love more deeply, lead more intentionally, trust ourselves more fully, and build healthier relationships with ourselves and others.
Over the past two decades, I've had the privilege of walking alongside people as they navigate trauma recovery, burnout, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, highly sensitive & empathic nervous systems, spiritual awakenings, and major life transitions. Again and again, I've witnessed the profound impact of personal healing. When we heal, we don't just change our own lives—we influence how we parent, partner, lead, communicate, and show up in the world. Individual healing has the power to create ripple effects that extend far beyond ourselves, shaping future generations and contributing to a healthier, more compassionate world.
I've also come to believe that we aren't meant to walk this journey alone. While healing often begins within, it is nurtured and strengthened through healthy relationships and authentic community. Growth doesn't end when therapy or personal development does; it continues as we practice living what we've learned alongside others.
This is why my work has expanded beyond individual therapy to include groups, workshops, and community experiences. I believe we need both: spaces for personal healing and spaces for collective growth. When individuals heal, communities become healthier. And when communities foster safety, belonging, and authenticity, they create the conditions for individuals to continue healing and evolving.
To me, personal transformation and collective transformation are not separate paths—they are deeply connected. As we heal ourselves, we contribute to the healing of our families, workplaces, communities, and future generations. And as we build healthier communities, we make it easier for others to do the same.
That intersection—where individual healing and collective healing support and strengthen one another—is the work I'm most passionate about.
Why I Do This Work:
Healing begins within and ripples outward.
I've sat on both sides of the therapy room.
I've experienced seasons of anxiety, burnout, profound loss, unhealthy relationships, and questioning everything I thought I knew.
I've also experienced the beauty of discovering that healing isn't about becoming someone else.
It's about remembering who you've always been beneath the survival strategies.
My Philosophy: Psychology with Soul
I don't believe we have to choose between science and spirituality.
Between practical action and deep reflection.
Between nervous system healing and meaning-making.
My work bridges evidence-based psychology with transpersonal and depth-oriented approaches because human beings are beautifully complex.
We are biological.
Psychological.
Relational.
Spiritual.
All of those parts deserve a seat at the table.

What Working With Me Feels Like
Clients often tell me they appreciate that I bring both warmth and honesty.
I won't simply nod along while you repeat old patterns.
I'll celebrate your growth, challenge you when needed, and help you connect insight with action.
We take the work seriously.
We also laugh.
Sometimes we cry.
Sometimes we swear.
Because healing is sacred, but it is also wonderfully human.
A few things I believe...
Healing isn't about perfection.
The nervous system deserves as much attention as the mind.
We don't heal in isolation.
Self-awareness is the beginning—not the destination.
Boundaries create deeper relationships.
The ego serves the soul, not the other way around.
We are all capable of growth throughout our lives.
Living fully is just as important as healing deeply.

I help my clients work with all levels of the mind, the conscious mind as well as the subconscious and unconscious.
I help you heal your past wounds
I am trained in multiple methods of trauma processing. I have yet to meet a single human being who has not been impacted by previous negative life events and emotions. (This is often missed in working with other professionals who do not have training in trauma processing).
It is not just a matter of ‘thinking’ or speaking logic to our emotional triggers and reactions. We need safe ways for our bodies and nervous systems to release the emotions so we can have greater peace in the present moment.
Practical Strategies and Next Steps to Integrate Healing and create new Habits
I help you self-assign your own homework to keep you on track with your progress and to further integrate the work we do together in session. I provide practical strategies and suggestions (and you let me know what you are interested/open to working on). I blend deep therapy and coaching to help you take actions and create new habits and improve (or even transform) your life and relationships.
I believe the ego is meant to serve the soul (not the other way around)
I believe that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. I believe in a holistic approach to healing.
My work is informed by the findings of quantum physics on the nature of reality.
I draw from a blend of Western Psychological strategies and Eastern healing approaches to help my clients get to the root of an issue and to make lasting change and transformation.
Our current western culture has lost touch with ancient wisdom and teachings. Our culture values reason and the logical mind above all else.
I believe logic and the ego have an important role to play but I don’t believe they are meant to run the show.
I believe we all have a connection to our soul, the part of us that exists beyond the personality and this time and space. I believe we all have the ability to begin to tap into and listen to this part of ourselves. I believe it is our own personal compass that is meant to guide us on our soul/life purpose and path. Connecting with this guidance and our unique path is an essential component of living a life of purpose and passion.
I help you listen to and work with your intuition and deeper knowing
I help you to learn your own unique intuitive gifts. I am a trusted guide to help keep you grounded in the present day material world while exploring your sensitivities and intuitive abilities. I will help teach you how to be open and yet safe and protected. I will help ease the fears that can come up in the spiritual awakening process (and with my years of mental health experience I will also help reassure you that you are not going ‘insane’).

I have successfully worked with thousands of people in my career from various backgrounds and professionals. From CEOs, medical processionals, entrepreneurs, start ups, stay at home moms, students, millennials, conscious couples, parents of HSP children and spiritual seekers.
The clients who tend I tend to work best with often share the following traits:
Are interested in their personal growth and development, they are avid readers, podcast listeners and do their best to work on themselves.
They have often been to therapy before but if not they are committed to personal development and self-help.
Despite their best efforts at change they are feeling stuck and they are open and willing to do what it takes to move past their blocks and create a new life.
One thing they all have in common is that they are looking for something deeper than what they have done in the past.
They know there is something below the surface, they can feel or sense it, they are aware of the repeating patterns and where they feel stuck. But that awareness isn’t enough to get them out of it.
In fact, it is often all the more frustrating, it can add to the feeling that they should be doing better.
They may have been through difficulties or challenges (or even trauma) but they are interested in taking responsibility for their own healing and in getting their life back.
They are open to trying new things. They realize they can’t heal with the same things they have been doing all these years.
They understand that healing is a process.
They may be really struggling or they might be rocking it in so many areas of their lives (but keep coming up against the same old patterns/feeling stuck in others)
They often have a connection to their own intuition and spirituality.

I am a therapist and professional but I am a human first. I also know the value of doing my own work. I have been on both sides of the couch. I have been described as ‘non-clinical’ (in a good way) and good at normalizing the struggles that we all face on this human journey.
I know what it takes to heal. I can’t do the work for you but I will get in there with you and help direct you to the possible strategies, process and approaches that can best support you in reaching your goals
I am incredibly warm, supportive and non-judgmental (it takes a lot to phase me). But I am also committed to your growth and development and I will (lovingly) call you out on your stuff.
I tend to be more directive than many therapists. I am not the sit back and smile and nod or ‘tell me how you feel about that’ type of therapist. I bring who I am into the therapy room. I take this work seriously and treat our time together as sacred space, but we will also laugh a lot (and maybe even swear a little).
You will always be in charge of what we focus on and how deep we go but I will be there guiding you and offering different ways we can work towards your goals.
I bring a blend of clinical experience and intuitive healing abilities into the therapy room. Depending on your comfort and openness I can share what I am picking up to help guide our work together. You are always in control of what we focus on and any interventions we might try.
After over a decade in the mental health field and navigating my own spiritual awakening there is pretty much nothing that can shock or surprise me anymore. From the taboo to the wonderful and weird rabbit hole of the spiritual awakening world.
My current clients are my top priority in my practice and our space together is sacred. However I do work best with those who are committed to doing their work. I do recommend that current clients schedule their next appointments ahead of time (otherwise you have have to wait for an aviable openings).
I require 72 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduled appointments or clients are responsible for the full session fee. (Unless it is an situation where we both agree it is an unexpected emergency- in these cases contact me as soon as possible to provide notice).
I am not available for phone calls between sessions. I cannot communicate through text message, social media DMs or other non-secure forms of communication.
You can send me a secure message on the online system, email me or leave me a voicemail message with your email contact (so we can set up a time to connect).
I take on fewer clients so that I can offer more in depth support to those I work with.
Questions? I recommend checking out the FAQS of Services for more on what to expect in therapy. You can also send me a note.
