Responding to Challenging Times:
I also know that financial realities have shifted for many people. I feel this too , in grocery bills, household costs, and everyday life.
To honour both accessibility and sustainability, I’m introducing a limited number of one-on-one sessions at standard PAA rates ($235 per 50-minute session) as a trial offering.
These sessions follow the Professional Association of Alberta (PAA) fee guidelines and are designed for:
Current, returning, or new clients who would benefit from individual therapy.
Clients who do not require the extended follow-up summaries and between-session support.
Clients who are excited to work together and ready to show up and end sessions on time.
If you’re in Alberta or New Brunswick and think this might be a fit, you’re welcome to reach out.
Insurance & Exceptions
In some cases, insurance billing exceptions may apply for longer-term services, such as:
Motor vehicle accident (MVA) recovery
Approved short- or long-term disability coverage
Other situations where insurers recognize and reimburse at PAA rates for a pre-approved session total
If you’re unsure whether your situation qualifies, please reach out to discuss options.
Continued Access & Community Resources
I also know that even the PAA rates may still be out of reach for some. To help bridge this gap, I’m continuing to expand free and lower-cost offerings, including:
Free webinars and educational sessions
Pay-where-you-position yourself workshops and group offerings
Resource collections to support your personal healing and growth journey
These are not therapy services, so they’re open to anyone, no matter where you live.

If you’re curious about these options, or want to explore what kind of support might fit your needs, I’d love to hear from you.
An Accessible, Sustainable Model of Care: More Depth. More Support. More Possibility.
You might not know this about me, but there was a long time in my life when I never imagined running my own business.
I only launched my practice after seeing firsthand the impact of approaches that work with the nervous system, intuition, trauma processing, and subconscious patterns. I also experienced a kind of disillusionment with models that focused only on surface-level change, the ones that emphasized quick fixes, mindset shifts, or “positive thinking” without addressing what’s happening deeper in the body and psyche.
Those approaches can be valuable, but they’re not always the right tool for the deeper transformation many of us seek.
From the very beginning, it was important to me to offer a different kind of client experience , one that honours both depth and support.
Why I Created a Different Model of Care
When I worked in agencies and group practices, I often felt a tug in my heart when clients asked if they could check in between sessions or if I could send them a quick note or summary. With large caseloads and limited time, it simply wasn’t possible to offer that kind of ongoing support.
When I opened my own practice, I made a deliberate choice to see fewer clients so that I could create a more sustainable, responsive, and supportive container for those I work with.
I developed a hybrid model of therapy, one that includes a written follow-up after each session with key points, resources, and next steps. This gives clients something tangible to revisit, deepening their integration between sessions.
Many clients have shared that these follow-ups are one of the most valuable parts of their experience.
It’s also consistent with what research tells us:
The fit between client and therapist contributes to 10–15% of therapeutic outcomes.
Approach or specialized training adds another 10–15%.
But what clients do between sessions accounts for 30–40% of positive change.
It makes sense , like working with a personal trainer, lasting growth comes from what happens between sessions.
Yet I also do not want this model to be a barrier.
